A resource website for parents of premature babies

The pitter patter of little feet is every parent's dream. However,  when a baby is born early and requires medical intervention to survive, life becomes like a rollercoaster that not only  goes through hills and valleys but also takes unexpected twists and turns.

While modern medicine is making progress to save tiny lives, preventing premature birth should always be a top priority.

The March of Dimes campaign for healthy babies promotes pre-natal education and care.  But, premature birth cannot always be prevented.

If your baby is born early, you may find the resources and links in this website helpful.

This website is dedicated to:

  • parents of preemies who face heavy financial burdens and who endure emotional extremes while caring for a pre-term infant
  • preemies who struggle daily to survive the lifesaving/life- threatening medical interventions
  • preemies with disabilities
  • preemies who are medical miracles
  • deceased preemies - who will never be forgotten and whose lives are not measured by a breath or seconds, minutes, hours, days, or years, but by the love of family, friends and caregivers
  • neonatal caregivers with attentive hands who devote their hearts and souls to giving tiny babies a fighting chance
  • all who support the March of Dimes campaign for healthy babies
  • extended family and family friends who give support throughout the rollercoaster ride

This site is a celebration of their lives and determination.

"Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul

And sings the tune

Without the words

and never stops at all"

~Emily Dickinson
